Hot Mess Hybrid
A Standalone Novel
Lex:
Have you ever met a witch that’s also a shifter? No? What about a clumsy witch that can shift into a wolf? No again? Let me introduce myself then. I’m Alexandria Quinn and I’m a wolf shifter-witch hybrid. At 22 I still have no idea what I’m doing.

My dad is a powerful witch, and my mom comes from a long line of wolf shifters. How did they meet? Oh, you know, the same ole same ole. Two kids fell in love, got married, had a couple babies. The whole shebang. Everything was going great until they realized their youngest–me–inherited both of their gifts. Combine that with my clumsy, scatterbrained personality, and you have a problem. Like turning lawn flamingos into real birds. Or setting your high school bully’s hair on fire. Or tripping over a rock in the grocery store parking lot and shifting, exposing my kind to droves of humans. Yeah, that one got me into some real trouble. Especially because it brought me to him.

Aiden Michael Craimer. The shifter soon to be Alpha of my mom’s pack.

I don’t know what that look in his eyes means when we meet, but I know it isn’t good.
Aiden:
I’d always looked forward to the day I would find my true love. To feel that connection. But at 26 I still haven’t found her. The female I’ve casually seen since high school, keeps hinting at it being her. And since we’re the same age, I know it isn’t her. She’s also an awful shifter. I wouldn’t subject my pack to her even if she were the last option on Earth. Plus, she isn’t my true love.

Then I find her. My true love. In the town’s hybrid wolf-witch who is infamous about not controlling her powers. The universe isn’t going to make this true love story an easy one.
Lex:
Why me?! I’m 22 and can’t control any of my powers. I’m a clumsy mess! There are loads better choices for his mate. So why me? Wish I had known it was fruitless to ask. I never had a chance. The universe is funny that way. And Aiden never knew what he signed up for. Our craziness was just beginning.

As Lex and Aiden learn what being true loves mean, others around them are not too happy about their relationship. How far will they go to keep these two apart? And what happens when laws are broken, risking not just the happiness of Aiden and Lex, but the leadership of a pack and the livelihood of a Coven?
